amy + sam : engagement

I have been looking forward to this engagement session for a while now and it was a lot of fun!

Dom works with Amy at the University and when it came up in conversation that she was getting married at the end of December, he mentioned that we just happen to be wedding photographers! haha!

Amy + Sam are so much fun! Whenever we're around them, my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much!! I can't wait for their wedding at the end of the year!!

They both met in Whitby and will be getting married there too, so what better place to take engagement pictures?! Being from a small seaside town myself, I love being near the sea in the winter! A seaside town takes on a totally different feel when the tourists have gone and ice-cream parlours have all closed for the season... I love it!!

Here are a few of my favourites from the day...

I tried out a different way of editing for this next one... it's not my usual style and I still have a lot to learn, but I like how it turned out!

I'm so glad the rain held off long enough for us to get some good shots!! I can't wait for their wedding at the end of this month!!
